The Dilemma

Well to be frank you could call me a half engineer as long as you know nothing about engineering cause even i dont know what engineering is. Till now I have realised that the infinite amount of information contained in each of the topics so far taught or learnt(often learnt as teaching and listening are quite a dream) that the so called degree that we earn after a 4 year stint at college trying to weld together the technical ability and submissiveness(being in a university I realise the importance of this if I am to complete my course in 4 years) and the industry requirement is quite different

Even if you dont believe me, technology is so advanced that all that the industry expects is a bunch of guys who know ohms law and resistance equations well.....(you can check with many of the placement papers)...........

So what does it indicate that a guy knowing Resistance equations and Ohms law is the best engineer out there......

Well to answer the question lets look a few years back when the so called Entrance fever was running high. I had a friend of mine who wrote KEAM( medical,2006) and got near about 3000. Well he was stuck to the idea of getting an MBBS in his CV and decided to repeat the entrance coaching and he came out last year with a rank of 200 which took him to an elite college . Now this year could transform this person suddenly into a guy of great intellect, knowledge or is it???

Well dear brothers and sisters an entance exam scorer doesnt indicate how good of an engineer or doctor you have in you. It indicates that you have the finanial ability to get into some good coaching institute and get good rank...........

Similarly there is a lot of things a college can do, it could virtually transform even a mediocre person into a very talented student in the domain.........

dont forget as is said "it is what you get out of the college that matters not what the college gets out of you"......
